Hello!
Dear specialists! Help me please diagnose this laptop. Initially it was poured with something sweet (containing sugar), and probably worked for some time. For now it doesn`t react in any way on power button, still 3V3 is present there and drops on push. Obviously, it was cleaned before by previous specialist and current situation may be not associated with pouring. Another problem is lack of schematic. Will be very appreciated, btw.
I`ve used 4540s schematic as a refference for KBC1126 signals, it seems identical yet. According to that, PWRBTN_1126# cames from button, but no luck with PWR_BTN_OUT# toward PCH. RSMRST# is held low, meaning KBC is not ready to power it ON. Trided to find any supply or power-good issue - still no luck. 5V, 3V3 present. Battery does not charge, but it seems dead (no voltage output).
Bios rewritten by dump I found here on forum. Board have no serious visible or measurable defects.
Can you suggest any other signals to check before replacing KBC or PCH?
Board ID is Foxconn Casper-UMA
Hope for you help!
